Silicon Curtain
LetsData co-founder Ksenia Iliuk joined Jonathan Fink on the Silicon Curtain podcast for a conversation on how influence operations actually work, why the line between coordinated and organic activity has blurred, and what kind of attribution actually leads to action.
Drawing on cases from the Armenian and Moldovan elections, Ksenia walked through how Russia's playbook has shifted from Kremlin-controlled media to decentralised, local-looking communities, and how the same infrastructure now spans information operations, cyber attacks, and crypto scams. She pushed back on the common assumption that running an influence operation is cheap, and argued that converged threats demand converged defenses.
